Nadia Linder Dahlgren

My name is Nadia, I am 34 years old, and I live in Fredrikstad with my fiancé and our two children. I am currently studying UX design and have a multidisciplinary background in digital marketing, media production, and development. The main motivation behind my work is creating solutions that make everyday life easier, particularly for users with low digital literacy who are often overlooked when digital services become too complex or inaccessible. What inspires me most is designing experiences that feel clear, human, and safe, regardless of a user’s level of digital confidence.

Currently, I work at Fredrikstad Municipality within the Service development department as a Webmaster. The role involves maintaining and developing the municipality’s website, continuously improving usability, and ensuring that residents can easily find the information they need. The work also includes advising municipal departments on content development, accessibility, and user friendly design, as well as close collaboration with the IT department on component development and functional improvements.

In addition to web development, I am involved in the ongoing development of internal systems, including the municipality’s CRM system. This work focuses on improving usability, modernising the interface, and enabling flexible solutions tailored to the needs of different departments.

My experience spans UX research, accessibility, information architecture, and prototyping. The toolset includes Figma, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, HTML and CSS, Umbraco CMS, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google Search Console, Programmable Search Engine, and various CMS systems.

Professionally, the focus lies on combining structure, empathy, and problem solving to transform insights into design decisions that genuinely help people. Accessibility and inclusive design are central values, ensuring that digital development delivers real value to those who need it most.

A structured, insight driven approach guides the design process, from understanding user needs and mapping challenges to ideation, prototyping, and testing. Experience from the public sector, customer service, and digital consulting has strengthened the ability to translate user needs into practical, real world solutions.
